My goal is to play College football at the highest level. I was born to lead others and it's my main area of giftedness besides my ability at playing quarterback. On the field, our team played with confidence when I'm leading them. This is NOT about me because I truly recognize the physical attributes and abilities I have all come from God. There is nothing I possess athletically He did not give me. My coaches instilled in me the desire to push what I have to the limit and as I have all expectations have been realized. During this past season I was at the top of statistical ratings for all QB's in Florida. I look to do the same at the next level.
I am fortunate to have been raised, coached and nurtured in a very stable environment. I am the youngest of 5 children and have 3 brothers who have all been good role models in playing sports and living right. I have been blessed with great coaches who always challenged me to meet or exceed their high expectations and to positively lead others. I have a great mom and dad who have loved me and nurtured me and cheered for me all along my path in life.
My junior year was a bit of a disappointment to overcome as I broke my non-throwing collar bone in our first game. But overcome it, I did and in a big way. My senior year has been statistically great and as a result I know that I can compete with anyone for the position at the next level in any Collegiate Division. I had a lot of opportunities prove myself at some of the finest football camps in the Country this past summer and was in the "A" group at every one.
I am a QB who can hit a receiver anywhere on the field in both hands with any kind of pass 90% of the time. I am a QB who can make the tough throw and will make the big play when it has to happen. I am a QB with the "X-factor" that makes the difference on the field. I am a QB who can feel the pocket and keeps his eyes fixed on what he is supposed to be reading in front of him. I do my best to live my life with a dedication to high moral values and if you are looking for a quarterback like this, then please consider me.
Besides my head coach, Tyler Gold, you can contact my prior head Coach Brian Lynch. His cell phone is 239-994-9305. Both Coaches have helped me a lot and Coach Lynch has 4 sons who have played in college and one went on to the NFL. He knows who football players are and he had a lot do with my development. He can tell you anything you want to know about me. I have also been trained and coached by Ken Mastrole of the Mastrole Passing Academy. His number is 239-919-4325 and his e-mail address is [email protected].
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Caleb Chapman, QB, Class of 2014
