I have learned a lot playing football, but my biggest lesson isn'thow to move the ball, it's how to work together for the bigger picture.
I actually played soccer as a kid and had no interest in football, not until I was 10 years old and one coach gave me the chance to play when others didn't want to be bothered because of my sizero. That was the moment I knew this sport was made for me and I was gonna do whatever I needed to in order to be able to play as long as possible.
I am very fortunate to have twoparents in my life that are strong guiding forces for me. They have taught me alot about life without doing it for me. Having such high big role models has allowed me to focus on school and football and figure out what I wanted to do with my future. I know I want to play football. There is no question about that. Football is such a major part of who I am and I know high school is not where I want to let it end. I also, know I want to go to school for business because my plans are to become an entrepreneur and own and operate my very own diesel tech shop. All of this is going to take time but I am willing to put in the work. I have never been afraid of hard work.
Through playing football I have been able to see things in myself that I didn't even know was there. I have learned about hard work, determination, the importance of team work and discipline. Football is about so much more than winning games, even though that is important. It's about learning who you are now and who you can become.
I know that I am made for this game. I know who I want to be as I become and adult and I know all I need is someone to invest in me the way I invest in myself.
