Allante Oliver-Barnes '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allante Oliver-Barnes, I go to Graceville High School, and I graduate in 2012. I am 5'11 or 6'0, I weigh 235 pounds, and I think I have a little speed but it needs improvement. I have played the game of football ever since I was seven years old so I have been playing for about ten years now. I started playing varsity football at my school when I was in ninth grade. It has always been my dream to play college football and I always try to be the leader of the team, even if I am not the veteren. I would like to go to a school with a high graduation percentile, great teachers, and has a great defensive coaching staff (linebacker & defensive end). The kind of school I am looking for is one that has a great automotive program and a school that I think I will fit in nice there. It does not really matter to me where the school is located and I am very open to different schools. My family needs financial help and that is why I try to get every scholarship a school has to offer besides the athletic scholarship. My desired major is automotive mechanic because I like to design cars and fix them up. My athletic goal in college is to be an impact on my team and a leader on my team. My career goal is to make it to the NFL but I also know that there is a chance that it might not happen so that is why I keep my head in the books and make sure I have something to fall back on if does not happen.
