My name is Matthew Diaz I attend Mater Academy Charter Middle High School located in Hialeah Gardens, Fl. I began playing football in the spring of 2023. through months of hard work and dedication I've homed in on my skills. I am a driven and disciplined player on the field and in the classroom. I thrive under pressure; I demonstrate my commitment by increasing my knowledge of the game by watching film and working on my strength conditioning and technique. Furthermore, on the weekends I attend an offensive line group sessions which are taught by former Division 1 players which has helped me tremendously in developing my technique. My goals as a student athlete, is to attend a university in which I can excel both in the classroom and on the field. Academically, I have not yet chosen a career path, but higher education has always been on the forefront of my plans. My character has always been one of a team player, I accept constructive criticism from both my teammates and coaching staff, football is a complex game with a lot of moving parts and I welcome any information I can obtain that can further my knowledge of the game.
