Darius Smith '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a collegiate student-athlete is to become an All-American and earn an opportunity to play in the NFL. This would be a dream come true as I would be following in the footsteps of my dad, Darrin Smith who was an All-American at the University of Miami and a 12 year NFL veteran. 

H have been fortunate to be a part of an amazing program that has won 3 straight state champions in Florida and being ranked the #2 team in the nation by Max Preps. I  believe that my smarts, character, speed (10.64 - 100m electronic time) and physicality has helped to contribute to our winning program. Being the starting strong safety/nickel on the #2 team in the nation and playing a national schedule enables me to face the best competition each week of the season. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
