Brooks Abbott '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3" US Army All American placekicker/punter from Jacksonville, FL. I have started on the Episcopal High School varsity team for 3 years. I have transferred to The Bolles School of Jacksonville for my senior year.  This season as a Senior I went 67/68 on PAT attempts and 11/15 on field goal attempts.  Throughout my career I have never missed a go ahead field goal in the fourth quarter. (4/4) I have a 2.87 GPA and have yet to take the SAT or ACT. I am looking for an institution where I can find a solid football program, but also steady academics. I do not know what I would like to major in yet, but I am interested in buisness and the military field. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team, and at a school whose fan base is strong. I believe my best fit would be at the DIa or DIaa, although I will absolutely consider strong football institution with great academic reputations at the DII and DIII level.
