Zion Williams '20 Recruiting Profile

I am hard working and a dedicated student athlete. Maintaining and keeping a 3.0 or higher GPA allows me to stay eligible on the field, set a positive example as a team leader and be there for my teammates when they need me most. I'm blessed to have received many awards.It is my desire  achieve success through education, collaboration,  and leadership, in which I hope to impact others do do the same. 

Sports have been my life for since I can remember. Starting from age 3, I loved football, basketball, baseball, and track. Pursing football is my main goal and passion. It’s a game I love to play and a game that I excel at playing. I started playing football when I was age 7 and only played when the coach needed a first down. I ran the ball for the first time and broke for a 20 yard touchdown.

I humbly take pride in being one of the team leaders of the Discovery High School "Spartans" Football team. We push each other to standards we never imagined; seeing and knowing that the game is not all about just winning but to enjoy the game itself. My mentality is to play the game and to come out stronger and better than before.

Although winning is apart of me and is expected, winning is an attitude. To have the chance to achieve my goals both in the classroom and on the field, is my ultimate desire; beyond high school and in a college university will be a blessing.
