Logan Staples '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Logan Staples, and I am the Tight End/H-Back for Lakeland High School. I stand at 5’11; 210lbs, and I have dedicated myself to bettering athletically and academically.

I am entering my junior year with a 3.5 GPA and starting Tight End/H-Back on the Varsity Roster. Adversity hit me my sophomore year when I broke my big toe in two spots week 1, sat out until week 8. I showed my resilience and continued to push myself and came back stronger than ever. I have played multiple positions throughout youth and High School including Tackle, Guard Center, Defensive End, and Tight End/H-Back. Entering my Junior year, I have high expectations on the field, but I am also very committed to finding a college that will further my education. Thinking in terms of next steps I know I want to play football during in college. I thrive on the physical aspect of the game as well as the team collaboration. Academics has always been a priority I strive to receive top grades to educate myself.   Since the age of six, when I started playing tackle football, I have been fascinated by the game; it would be a dream to play at the college level. If given such opportunity, I would continue to lead by example by expanding on my work ethic, which consists of hard work, discipline, being coachable, and becoming a valuable asset to my team. I will play and conduct myself with the utmost integrity, as to always show respect to my coaches, my team, and my school. I’m a respectful young man, and I feel like I can expand my football career greatly and would appreciate the opportunity.
