Moving from Michigan to Florida was a big change for me to get used too. I changed my primary sport of hockey to football but I took this challenge with pride. It was very hard to leave all my family but someday I hope to get back there. Through this change and through my sport I've learned to handle change and how to react to it positively. Academically my goal is to graduate high school with a GPA above a 3.2 and to continue that success through college while playing my sport. One of my biggest obstacles was coming to a new state and trying to fit myself within a new group if guys on a team that eventually became family. I think a unique characteristic about me is my resilience and my ability to persevere. Id say I have many useful skills but one ill say for sure is i'm a quick learner and very adaptable to any situation.
