Ashton Wilson '17 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal as a student/athlete is to attend a great university, play football and graduate with an Engineering degree.  I would be a good candidate for your program because I have the drive and ambition to excel in the classroom, weight room and on the field.  I understand that without a positive attitude and hard work, talent alone will only get you so far.  I take pride in what I do athletically and academically, which is reflected in my 3.9 cumulative unweighted GPA.   I listen and quickly apply the feedback I am given from both my teachers and coaches.  I have trained in Tae-Kwon-Do since I was six years old and have achieved the rank of third degree black belt, so I am very familiar with level of discipline and commitment required to be successful.  I was recently nominated by the head coaches within the division and was accepted to the Cape Coast Conference Student Leadership Summit whose goals are to develop the student/athletes leadership skills while spreading sportsmanship and good character both on the playing field and in the classroom.  It would be an honor to speak with you about your program and the potential opportunities available at your school.
