Michael Hernandez '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Hernandez. I am 5 foot 9 in. I play football for Barbara Goleman Senior High School. I am a sophmore on the varsity team. I have been on the varsity team since my freshman year. I have been a backup. My coaches have allowed me to also play Junior Varsity for the past two years while I learned on varsity. All of my stats come from my Junior Varsity games. I played in my first varsity game this year as a nose tackle against North Miami Beach senior high school. I played one full game of nose tackle in my last Junior Varsity game against Michael J. Krop senior high school. In my sophmore year I was named one of the co-captains of my Junior Varsity team. I am a hard worker. I am a player who is willing to play my role as a follower but if needed can step up and be a leader. I am not a trouble maker. I have no issues with the law or at school. I make sure I give everything I've got in practice and on game days. It is also my dream to play football at the next level. I would like to attend school in Florida, but if an opportunity presents itself somewhere else I am willing to take it. I am open to many different kinds of schools. My father is currently unemployed so I will possibly be applying for financial aid. My desired major is in either law or medicine I am not sure yet. My athletic goals are to play football on the collegiate level.
