My name is Zach Mejia. I grew up in a small town called Queen Creek, Arizona, where I played football, baseball, and competed in wrestling while still maintaining consistent honor roll membership. I recently moved to Naples, Florida and attend Gulf Coast High School. The highlights of my athletic career include being apart of a state championship winning team in baseball and winning a state title in wrestling. Since starting tackle football I have been chosen by my coaches to be a team captain and a starter on offense, defense, and special teams. After moving to Gulf Coast High School I now focus mainly on defense and am a linebacker. I feel I have grown most as a student-athlete when I came in 3rd at a statewide wrestling tournament, after continuing to train and improve my skill sets, I placed 2nd at the final State meet. My goals and aspirations in life are to complete my college education with a bachelor's degree and move forward to get my doctorates in Anesthesiology. Some aspects of my character that make me stand out are that I am honest and trustworthy, and will always give my best effort with a given task.
