Good afternoon, I know we don’t know each other but I want to tell you a little about me.
My name is Logan Lugo class of 2023. I’ve played football since the 5th grade , I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t love football. As long as I can remember I always loved watching , playing and talking football . My dad taught me how to throw and catch a football at a very young age. As soon as I started playing organized tackle football I knew this sport was for me.
There are so many similarities between life and football . The two big ones for me were discipline and responding to adversity. What am I going to do when things get tough? Will I fold or rise to the occasion? Understanding that sacrifices have to be made in order to be a better player and more importantly a better person .
All of these characteristics that football contains make it the most incredible sport and team sport , in my opinion. Football has been a relationship binder between me and my dad. We have conversations about what’s happening in college and the NFL almost on a regular basis. For me, it transcends just being a game. It’s a tool for life , and building and maintaining relationships.
If you decide to bring me in , I can guarantee, you will get everything I’ve got. You will not only get a good football player but you’re getting a good person who’s coachable and is disciplined.
Aside from loving football and all that it entails I know it doesn’t last forever . With that I want to ensure I go to a program that will help me become the best version of myself academically as well.
It’s bitter sweet knowing that this is my last year of HS football , the excitement for my next chapter however is exciting . I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely ,
Logan Lugo
