Damon Brown '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Damon Victor Brown. I am originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I’ve been playing football since I was about six or seven years old. Football has always had a huge role my life; I've been dedicated since the first time I’ve stepped on a field to become a college athlete.  For my freshman and sophomore years of high school I attended Atlantic Shores Christian School in Chesapeake, Virginia. I have recently moved to Orlando, Florida and now currently attend East River High School.

In the classroom I excel on many levels and I stay out of trouble. I maintain a high GPA and I take all honors and AP classes. I plan to get my bachelor in Athletic Training so I may be able to open my own / Athletic Training for Therapy and Rehabilitation center for all athletes of every age. I not only want to find a team that fits me but also an academic school that meets the challenges I need to reach my goals in life. My father always tells me I am a STUDENT-ATHLETE so schooling always comes first.

 I'm a very hard worker and an even harder player. I am very compliant and strive to get better at all times in every aspect of life. Playing outside linebacker I would say my strength is playing in flat coverage and taking on lead blocks my run reads are simple but while playing middle it can be a struggle but that is something I strive to work on and make better. I feed off of criticism so I am very easy to coach. I believe in team unity I put my team before I put myself and I make many sacrifices for the people around me. I am open to anything and plan to find the best school for me in any division or any state. My main goal is to glorify God, my family, and my teammates. Thank you.
