I am an extremely dedicated & goal oriented student athlete with excellent work ethics. I welcome challenges head on and I'm able to push through adversity with unwavering character and spirit. I was able to display this by having to transfer schools right at the start of my Junior year due to circumstances beyond my control (parent's job). After having missed all of the spring & summer workouts, I had to earn the trust of my coaches & teammates in an effort to secure my "starting role" within the Defensive Backs and Special Teams. My peers tend to gravitate to me, not because of what I say, but because of the example I set. I'm respectful of others, and I accept constructive criticism/coaching.
I'm fully committed to my academics and currently maintain a 3.6 GPA. I have a great support system that includes my parents & grandparents. I'm in search of a University/College that will stimulate and stretch me academically, professionally, & socially while pursuing a degree in Business Management, Finance, and/or Athletic Training. I've learned the value of proper planning & prioritizing which enables me to stay on tasks with my academic assignments.
I've also participated in other varsity sports to include Track & Field and Basketball. Through sports, I learned important life values such as commitment, teamwork, trust, leadership, work ethic, overcoming shortcomings, and networking. I believe 100 percent that I can compete on the college level and that I will have a major impact on my team and peers.
