James Bethea '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is James Bethea, I am pursuing a lifelong dream to obtain a college degree and play football on the collegiate level.  I currently have a 3.98 GPA and take education very serious. My goal is to obtain a Bachelor's Degree hopefully in criminal justice and become a Federal Agent in an effort to combat crime in America.  In addition to education I also take the game of football very serious and take every opportunity to enhance my performance.  Being from a military family my thought process is "train as you fight" simply put I practice hard to play hard.  My strength as a cornerback is my speed and agility to defend during pass coverage.  I possess the instincts to read, adjust and break on the ball while causing disruption to the receiver's route.  I am flexible and can adjust to any defensive schemes, always willing to learn.  I have great work ethics and believe I will be an asset to any football organization.  Professional on the field and off the field.  Thanks in advance for your consideration.
