My main goal is to play college football at the University of Florida and major in Engineering. I have played football since the age of eight with a Pop Warner league. It's been a major part of my life ever since and I am deeply passionate about it. I've had great coaches throughout my childhood. They instilled the importance of teamwork, hardwork, dedication, accountibility, leadership, attitude, and humility. I feel that I would make a good candidate for a team because I take the initiative to be better. I ask questions. I study the best running backs. I constantly try to improve my skills by watching films, videos, and tutorials on how to master different techniques. I run track to improve my speed and endurance each year. I lift weights to gain strength. I consistently and frequently attend many football camps to become more skillful. Most importantly, I practice, run drills, and always try and execute what I've learned. I listen to my coaches and ask for feedback on my performance. I strive to be the best.
My schedule is pretty tough but I feel I've been balancing it pretty well. I have all honors classes with the exception of my dual enrollment course. I get up early for film or practice. Afterschool, I have practice every day and I usually get home around 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. and start immediately on my homework. On the weekends, I attend football camps, train with my track coach, or run drills. My parents have always instilled the importance of a good education. It's important to me that I maintain a high GPA. Playing for the NFL would definitely be living the dream but I also have to make sure that becoming a successful engineer is apart of that plan.
I feel my drive and my determination makes me different than other candidates. I have so much heart and I will never give up on myself. I will always be willing to put in the work to become greater. I have set high expectations for myself and I know what I can do when I put my mind to it. I will never stop striving to be the best.
