Football has always been an influence in my life. I officially started playing tackle football when I was 5-years old. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted to be around football for the rest of my life anyway I could. I was motivated to become a football player after watching Ray Lewis who is my greatest inspiration, and continues to inspire me today.
My goal is to go to college and continue to play football while narrowing down my interest to Culinary Arts, Law, or Sports Medicine. With an education in Law, it will teach me how to take command and lead which are important aspects to have as a football player and especially as a quarterback. An education in Sports Medicine would allow me not only to learn about my body, its limits and how to optimize my performance while also paving the way for a possibly a coaching career at some point in my life. A degree in Culinary Arts would not only teach me how to command a group of people towards a common goal but also teach me about the proper nutrition plan for me to keep my body in the best shape it can be. All of these possible majors offer a unique opportunity to not only prepare for the real world but also on the field.
People often describe me as a hard worker, a reliable teammate, and a good leader. My leadership style is leading through example by listening to the coaches and always showing them respect, as well as working hard at school and pushing myself to get the best grades I can and holding my teammates to the same standards choosing only to be vocal when I need to. The way I approach challenges is by adapting to the situation so that I'm never caught off guard.
