2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am currently a Freshman at Florida State University studying Mechanical Engineering. I earned the Bright Futures Scholarship for academics. I graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, FL on May 2014 and played high school Varsity Football ~ LB/TE/QB. My Cardinal Newman High School team was 2013 District 7-3A Champions! I was selected as 2013 Fall Palm Beach County All-Conference Team - Defensive End as well as the All-Area Team - Defense -Honorable Mention - Defensive Linebacker. I was a 3 sport Varsity athlete with football, basketball and lacrosse in high school. I am registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center - NCAA ID # 1210031542. I received the Congressional Nomination from U.S. Representative Patrick Murphy. I am also a National Honor Society member and have over 173 Community Service Hours. I welcome challenges and work well under pressure. I hope to utilize both my strong academic standing and athletic skills to play at the next level where I can obtain my degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or International Business.
I lettered in Varsity Football my Sophomore, Junior & Senior year. My head football coach is Steve Walsh (University of Miami & NFL QB). I have participated in the Drew Brees 7 on 7 Tournament, Dolphins Academy 7 on 7 High School Tournament and Summer Camp. I have earned the Lamp of Knowledge for having a 3.5 GPA or above cumulative HPA as well as earned the Order of the Arrow for FHSAA Academic Award for having a 3.0 GPA or above HPA and participated in a sport (Varsity Football, Basketball and Lacrosse).
