I am 100%. Always have been. Since I was a child, my parents have said that I have no off-switch. This drive causes me to lift heavier, run faster, drive deeper, block, tackle, and hit harder than the day before, knowing that every day I have been the best I can be— for myself and my teammates. In my personal life, this drive convicts me to stand taller, speak louder, and give more to others. It propels me set lofty goals and strive until I have achieved them.
It is my intention to bring my passion and influence to my collegiate football team and academic studies. Coach Joshua Moree of Denmark High School has said, "Asher leads by example both in and out of the classroom. He is an incredible motivator for his teammates and strives for perfection in every drill, every play, and every game. Along with this, he is taking a challenging course load which he hopes will help lead him to success in the professional career path of Nursing. His work ethic is unmatched. On a personal level, he holds tight to the values instilled by his family: honesty, integrity, selflessness, perseverance, and resolve.
I believe that Asher West will be an asset to any school he chooses to attend. His continual growth as a student-athlete and a leader among his peers shows that he will excel in any environment. I encourage you to give Asher strong consideration for your university."
