I am determined to go to college to further my academic and football journey. I began playing organized sports at 3 years old starting with soccer and started playing flag football at age 5. At age 7, I began playing tackle football as an offensive and defensive lineman. From 6th grade to 10th grade on offense, I have played left tackle mostly but also played right tackle and guard when needed. On defense, I have played defensive tackle mostly, but also I have played defensive end. Also, I have played linebacker in certain situations as well. In my freshman and sophomore years of high school, I primarily played defensive end and left/right tackle on Junior Varsity. My sophomore year, I played left/right tackle on Varsity and Junior Varsity as well as defensive end. After 2 years of weight training, my body has transitioned into a more athletic build and I have gotten a lot faster and stronger. Going forward, I'm planning to transition to linebacker playing both middle and outside. Also, I want to learn running back as well. What makes me unique as a player is my versatility and adaptability. I have played on both sides of the ball as a lineman and special teams my whole life. And I was able to switch between positions, for example, right tackle to left tackle and defensive tackle to defensive end. I am confident that I will continue to be an adaptable player. I am very coachable, and I handle criticism very well. Responsibility, respect, and trust are characteristics I have and will demonstrate off and on the field. There is no need to worry about my academics because I am confident in my academic ability and will do what I'm supposed to in the classroom. My dependability and determination to be a great student-athlete is what makes me a great candidate for your team.
