George Myers Jr. '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is George Myers. I am a junior at Lucy C. Laney High school.  I am 5’7 and I weigh 165 lbs. I enjoy playing sports, singing, and listening to music. I currently play football and run track.   I have been on the varsity team as a running and corner back since my freshman year at Laney high school. I helped lead my high school team to the playoffs twice.  I also rushed for over a thousand yards this past season. During my track season, I ran the 4x1, the long jump, and the triple jump. Our team won 2^nd runner up in the state 4x1. I currently run a 4-4 in the forty yard dash.

I have been playing football since age 8. I have a true passion for this sport and it is my dream to one day play football for a college team. I am open to any type of accredited college.  My goal is to receive a degree in education and become a math and/or physical education teacher. I am willing to do the work to make my dreams come true.  I am a very focused, humble and hardworking.

I am also a Christian and I worship at Pierce Grove Baptist Church. I currently serve faithfully on the usher board. My plans also include volunteering at a nursing home. I enjoy helping and listening to the elderly.
