I love the grind. What sets me apart from other athletes is my constant desire to work hard. If I have a block of spare time when I don’t work on my craft, I have missed an opportunity - and I hate that feeling. Most days you can find me calling a practice after our formal practice or weekends, pumping up teammates, getting in an extra run, or maybe doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I’ve been a highly motivated student-athlete since 6th grade when I started training seriously as a quarterback. My 6th grade season was canceled due to COVID, but I used that opportunity to focus on my craft and build my quarterback IQ. By 7th grade, I had a national QB ranking by QBHitlist, became the starter on my middle school team, and ended the year as our Offensive MVP.
In 8th grade, my leadership on and off the field developed significantly. I am known for my positive attitude, team-first mentality, and willingness to go above and beyond for my teammates. I believe that success is a team effort, and I am always looking for ways to motivate and inspire those around me. My leadership skills, coupled with my accuracy, footwork, and arm strength, resulted in me being named Overall MVP this season.
With a passion for the sport, a strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed, I will use my upcoming four years of high school to continue to develop and take my skills to the next level so that I will be ready to compete at the collegiate level.
I wish to be more than a talented athlete; I am also dedicated to my education and committed to becoming the best person I can be. I have a strong academic record, maintaining a high GPA while balancing the demands of both football and school.
I am confident that my skills, determination, work effort, and passion for the game will make me an asset to any collegiate football program.
