I feel I can offer a team leadership and hard work. I love the game of football and I always give 110% every play. I am a leader on and off the field by my actions, attitude and my work ethic. I have a 4.0 GPA and realize that my grades are just as important as my ability to play the game of football.
My name is Tyler Bertolini. I am 5'11, 230 pounds. I run a 4.7 40 yard dash, bench 335 , and squat 455. I play fullback, inside and outside linebacker on the Varsity football team at Gilmer High School in Ellijay, GA.
My favorite sport is football. In my 6th grade year, we won the North Georgia League Championship. In middle school, we were the Region runner up. That year I won the Defensive MVP award and the Captain's Award. I am a three year letterman in football. In my first year of high school, I was the only freshman on the varsity team that started and I was awarded the Scout Team Player of the Year. In my sophomore year, I was 1 of 4 sophomores to start on the varsity team. I won the Academic Award with the highest GPA for the sophomore class and I earned an All Region Honorable Mention. My junior year, we posted one of the best records in Gilmer football history, going 8-3 and making it to the state playoffs. I won the Academic Award for the junior class, the Offensive Back Award, and was named to the First Team All Region. In my senior year, I have been named team Captain for my leadership abilities. In Wrestling, we have won three Dual State Championships and two Individual Championships in Georgia Class 4-A. My sophomore year I was the only sophomore to make it to sectionals in my weight class. My junior year I won 6th Place in the 220 weight class for 4-A.
I love football and my goal is to play as a freshman in college. Whatever college I go to, I feel I can make an impact on the field and in the classroom. I feel that no matter what obstacle is put in front of me, I will overcome it to be the best that I can be for my team. If you give me the opportunity I will make the most out of it and you will not be disappointed.
