Personal Statement
Hello my name is Armani Julius Purifoye, I'm a senior student at Camden County High School, and there is nothing (other than God, my parents, Aunt and Paw) that I love more than football. I'm 6' 2," 180 lbs, and have a vertical of 34.50." I bench press 215 lbs., as well as squat 360 lbs. As for who I am off the field, I’m a hard working, studious young man, and a person who realizes that I have to perform on the field as well as in the classrooms. There is nothing more valuable to me than a quality education. Yes, “football” is my passion. I wake up daily thanking the Lord for blessing me with the ability to play this great game! I try to improve my personal game daily. I realize that football is a team sport and building a solid bond with fellow teammates is the key to both a successful football team experience as well as being successful even in the greater game of life itself. One of my goals are, encouraging my teammates to always give all they can and put forth maximum effort and this is what I do my very best to excel at. Over the years I have come to realize that coaches are there to bestow their wisdom upon me of the game and I do my very best to aggressively absorb all of their teachings with the understanding that they are essential tools to improve both my character and game! My birth home is Miami, Florida; however I now live in Kingsland, Georgia with my loving Aunt who is the active locomotive driving force along with my stern spirited mother, father and Paw who as well plays a vital role in my educational and sports life. The great career path for my major is Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, and I believe that I know I can fully acquire the knowledge that will constantly aspire me to achieve my educational degree plus me knowing and believing that if I put maximum effort forth at any revered football program, I know I will do well at both. Though I would love to attend an educational institute close to home but if there is an educational institute that will foster my passion for football, in addition to providing me the essential tools of knowledge necessary to my overall future; I will not be fussy where I will attend. On the contrary, it is my passionate dream to attend a Division I or Division II educational institute; but a Division III educational institution will be suitable as well.
