Hello Coaches:
My name is Terry Thomas (@ttime_55) and I currently play DE, LB, TE, and on Special Teams. I'm 6' 3" 245 lbs and in the Class of 2016. I'm a Rivals.com and 247Sport 2-Star Rated Defensive End. Currently hold 7 DI and 2 DII offers. I played Inside Linebacker on our Junior Varsity Football TEAM and was voted Defensive Most Valuable Player by my Coaches at the ILB position. I've completed my sophomore and Junior football season starting on Varsity at Defensive End and TE. Voted TEAM Captain my Junior and Senior Season.
Career Totals: 320 Career total tackles (Most in school history), 20.5 sacks (Most in school history), 24 QB hurries, 26.5 TFL, , 9 passes defended, 2 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 defensive touchdown, and 10 catches for 128 yards. Started varsity 3 seasons (6A/5A level).
Senior Season: 97 total tackles, 4 QB hurries, 8.5 TFL, 9.5 sacks, 4 passes defended, 1 fumble recovery, 3 caused fumble, and 1 Interception in 10 regular season games played.
Junior Season:113 total tackles, 5 QB hurries, 10 TFL, 6.5 sacks, 5 passes defended, 1 fumble recovery, 3 caused fumble, and 1 defensive touchdown in 10 regular season games played.
Sophomore Season: 110 total tackles, 13 QB hurries, 8 TFL, 4 sacks, 4 passes defended, 1 fumble recovery, 1 caused fumble, and 1 defensive touchdown in 10 regular season games and 1 playoff game played.
Senior Year: AAAAA Region 4B Defensive 1st TEAM All-Region. All-County 1st TEAM Defense. ALL SOUTHERN CRESCENT BUZZ TEAM 1st TEAM Defense.
Junior Season: 9/26/2014 vs. Stockbridge Named Defensive Player of the Game with 18 tackles, 1 sack, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 pass break up. 10/3/14 vs Union Grove Name State Farm Player of the Game with 20 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 TFL.
Sophomore Season: Named OVERALL Player of the Game for 9/6/13 vs L. Hughes with 9 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 QB hurry, and 1 fumble recovery. Named DEFENSIVE Player of the Game 11/1/13 vs Newton with 17 tackles, 2 QB hurries, and 1 pass defended. Season: 110 total tackles. Named to the REGION 2-AAAAAA ALL-REGION FOOTBALL TEAM with Honorable Mentions for my defensive play. Named TOP PERFORMER at The National Underclassman (NUC) All American Game and Performance Week which was held from December 27th to December 30th, 2013 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
I also played on my 9th grade basketball TEAM and lead our TEAM in scoring, rebounding, and was named Defensive Player of the Year and MVP. I was a starter on our Junior Varsity 10th grade basketball TEAM and lead the TEAM for the second year in rebounding and was named Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. We won the school first County Championship this season. I played AAU basketball during the spring and summer of 2012 and 2013.
I have a 3.95 GPA and ranked in the top 10 % at 14 out of 307 with a 26 ACT TEST SCORE. I was inducted into the National Honor Society, in BETA Club, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I'm currently taking honors and AP classes.
Firstly, I'm a well rounded and good person with good character. Secondly, I'm a very good "Student Athlete". I work hard in the class room, in the weight room, and on the football field. I will bring value to your program because I can excel at multiple positions on the field while excelling in the classroom. My academic goal is to earn a college degree in a Healthcare Related Profession. My goal is to earn a football/academic scholarship to learn/play at the college level and do everything in my power to help the Coaches achieve the TEAM goals. I will work hard in the weight room, during workouts, and in the playbook to make sure that the school and football program get the most out of me for their scholarship investment. I will work hard 365 on and off the field to earn a roster spot and time on the field. Please call my Coaches to verify my football work ethic and leadership capability.

- Another good camp. I performed well. After camp was over, I had the opportunity to sit 1-on-1 and meet with the recruiter who recruits my area. He also toured the campus with me and introduced me to several of their defensive players. Went back to his office and watched highlight film of their last season. A very good experience.
