My name is Jonathan Dihigo. I am a rising sophomore at Loganville Christian Academy. My primary position is wide receiver and my secondary position is safety. This year, I am also playing at defensive end because that is where my team needs me. Although I am currently 5'7" and 135lbs, my coaches tell me I play above my size. I was able to play at the varsity level my freshman year. I also maintained a 4.0 gradepoint average my freshman year. I believe in working hard at everything I do.
In addition to my team training, I have also been working with Art Harris of Fast Feet. I have enjoyed working hard on developing my speed and agility as well as my general football knowledge. I have improved my 40 time by almost 1/2 of a second since March. My pro-shuttle time has also improved from a 5.1 to a 4.56. I have improved my bench weight from 175 to 260 in the last six months.
In short, I am determined to prepare myself to be a college level athlete both on the field and in the classroom. It is my desire to be a leader on my team and in my school community by demonstrating a strong work ethic. I want to play at the highest competition level possible while earning my degree. I am open to all different types of schools and plan to start visiting a few campuses this school year. At this time, I believe that I would like to pursue a History degree.
