I've missed one season of football since I was 6 years old (sophomore year), I've grown from 5'8 my freshman year to 6'4.5 at the start of my senior year. While my 18 month growth spurt has made it difficult to maintain the weight I desire it hasn't prevented me from aggressively playing defensive end in one of the most competitive 6A conferences in the State of Georgia. I also hit the weight room every morning before school.
I have an older sibling and a younger sibling so it goes without saying that I'm use to healthy competition as well as compromise. I have played skilled positions from defensive back to wide receiver (Freshman through Junior year) and enjoyed all of the positions I've played however defensive end (current year) has been my favorite. My goal is to find an institution where I can strike the right balance between the classroom and the field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding/strong business program. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team however I understand that hard work will ultimately determine my opportunities. I'm open to all NCAA levels from DI to DIII as well as high academic DIII and NAIA.
My personal goal is to earn an undergraduate degree in Business followed by an MBA which will prepare me to start a retail or services business following graduation.
I feel my size, determination and commitment will help me succeed at the next level and I will be a positive influence on my teammates because I value character, teamwork, and the comradery of football.
