Ryan Jennings '13 Recruiting Profile

I have a passion for football that keeps me motivated and helps in achieving my goals.  I am interested in playing college football and furthering my education. Football has taught me alot about hardwork, teamwork, determination, and commitment. It has helped to prepare me for life in many ways.   I've learned that the most important things in life come with a price and I must be willing to pay that price if I am going to succeed. The game of football has helped  me to be more confident, be a team player and has kept me competitive. Continuing to play football can only help me improve in all areas on and off the field and  better prepare me for my future. 

My struggles last year (junior year) taught me not to take anything for granted . I injured my back (L-4 crack)  at the beginning of the season and was out for the year.  My doctor released me last spring with the condition that I start lifting weights on squats until after the season. I am working hard this season to prove myself in a short period of time. I follow three priniciples: FAITH~EDUCATION~FOOTBALL. It is important that I keep my priorities in order. My goal is to earn a football scholarship and get an outstanding education.
