My name is Peyton King and I started playing football when I was in the 2nd grade. I played starting quarterback for the Varsity team this year and although the year was challenging, I learned a great deal about leadership, communication, and teamwork. From the first time I picked up a football, I aspired to be the best I would be and play at a collegiate level. Playing in college is a dream of mine that I hope to make a reality.
I am always working to improve myself physically and academically. I work hard on a daily basis training hard to improve my skills both mentally and physically. With the help of my coaching staff, I am always looking for ways to get stronger, faster, and bigger. I am very coachable and always welcome criticism to help me improve my game. I am a team leader and am constantly encouraging and motivating my teammates.
Academically, I study hard and maintain a high grade point average. Our football team achieved an all-state academic award this year. I volunteer for United Way and am involved with Christmas for Families. These organizations prepare food and gifts for the less fortunate during the holiday season.
Although I am undecided on a career path at this time, I am looking to attend a college where I can challenge myself both on an off the field. My goal is to find a college where I can compete at the highest level possible. I am open to all options and hope to become an excellent role model to my peers and teammates and make my parents proud.
