Ian Arellano '20 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in studying exercise science and would like to pursue a career in either sports medicine or physical therapy. I'm a focused person. I realize I'm not going to amaze people "getting off the bus" with my size, but I know I can compete at any level. All I need is an opportunity. I've worked hard to become a complete football player and believe that to be important on a team. 

My preference is to have the ball in my hands. I have good field vision, contact balance and I feel I read blocks well. I run with patience and have a burst with great stop-start ability and I can shake defenders in space. I'm a durable running back and consistently move the chains with big play ability. I've worked hard at improving my pass blocking skills and catching balls out of the back field. I return punts, kicks, and I play defensive in the secondary with sound open field tackling. I can also place kick for PAT's and kick offs. I am an overall athlete who will contribute all over the field.  

I play with confidence due to preparation and hard work. I'm looking forward to the academic and athletic challenges college will bring and I feel blessed for the opportunity.
