I am a 4.5-star kicking prospect with both Kohl's Kicking and Chris Sailer Kicking. I've only been kicking for two years and have shown fast growth proving I can compete at the college level. I haven't reached my ceiling yet.
"Carter is a solid high school kicking prospect. He is a good looking athlete with a strong leg. Carter does a nice job on field goal. He hits an accurate ball and has 50+ yard range. He is ready to move to the ground. His kickoffs are solid and will only continue to improve. Carter is showing steady improvement each time we see him. I expect him to stay on this path. College football is in his future with continued hard work. Carter should have a great senior season. He is a fine young man that is always a pleasure to work with. Nice prospect." ~ Chris Sailer (https://chrissailerkicking.com/player-rankings/profile?player=11214)
"Manwaring recently competed at the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed impressive leg strength and solid fundamentals in both his field goals and his kickoffs. He scored 19 points in the field goal charting and was able to average a 100.65 in the three kickoff sessions at camp. He has leg talent to play college football and the next 6 months will be fun to see his progress." ~ Kohl's Kicking (https://kohlskicking.com/national-player-ratings/kickers/2022)
I'm a lifelong soccer player. Two weeks before the 2020/21 season began my high school football coaches reached out to me and invited me to try out. With very limited preparation and absolutely no experience I tried out, won the starting position as kicker and punter, and had a successful first season - finishing as 2nd team All-Conference as both kicker and punter.
I decided to give up soccer and focus exclusively on football kicking. As soon as my Junior season ended I began working with kicking coaches and attending kicking camps across the country. I've put in a lot of hard work and practice during the last year. I've worked with kicking coaches in Idaho, Montana, Utah, Tennessee, Nevada, Illinois, and California. I am currently a 4.5-star kicking prospect with both Kohls Kicking and Chris Sailer Kicking.
I had a great senior season. 28/29 on PATs, 4/6 on field goals with a long of 49, 31 touchbacks, and we recovered my only on-side kick. I was honored as 1st Team High Country All-Conference and 2nd Team Idaho 5A District 5/6 All-Conference.
I'm a solid all-around athlete. I have a strong build and I'm a fast runner. I've lettered in soccer, wrestling, and football, but I've found something I'm truly excited and passionate about with football kicking. I'm easy to coach and highly motivated to work hard to improve. I'm a good student and a good kid. I get good grades and I've never been in trouble with my parents, school, or the law. My dream is to continue kicking as a college athlete as I further my education. I plan on studying Business Administration in college. I love how challenging and rewarding football can be. I wish I had discovered it sooner. I want to do it as long as possible.
