My name is Greg Gwinn from Pocatello, Idaho. Since I was a little boy I have always wanted to participate in a Division 1 sport, whether it was football or baseball, but I would be very willing to play at a lower division school as long as it met my academic and athletic standards. I am taking the necessary steps that it involves to do so by keeping a perfect 4.0 GPA, having a daily workout regiment, building a relationship with my coaches, and working my hardest every day. In the 2012 season I played for Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho, who took 3rd place in the 5A State Tournament. I started at cornerback for the varsity team as a freshman, and I was the 1st non-lineman in school history to do so. I am now approaching my sophomore season and once again playing cornerback. Over the summer I have attended several camps to better myself and my team. One of these camps was the Football University (FBU) Portland camp. I was coached by former NFL DB, Matt Clark. At the end of the camp I was awarded the Gatorade Defensive MVP, and an invite to the FBU Top Gun camp in July. College sports is only one of my life dreams, however. I hope to earn a degree in accounting as my mother, father, and brother have all done, and then be able to develop my own business where I can become "the boss." I enjoy a challenge, I am willing to work hard, and I will never give up on something I believe is important.
