Sam Rasmussen '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since the fourth grade I have loved the game of football and the competitive factor that it brings.  I have always been a competitive person. I believe having a competitive mindset is very important to football. I believe I am dedicated, hard working and a valued team member who respects my teammates, coaches, family, fans and my opponents. I work hard on and off the field and this allows me to take hits and still put in strong effort on every play.  As a  sophomore I started on JV as well as on the varsity team for my school.  I am serious about weight training and have been in the gym daily, at times two times a day.  I believe that becoming dedicated to the weight room will make a huge difference in my performance, allow me to compete at a high level and help to prevent injuries. I have taken my schooling serious and have maintained a 3.5 and above GPA.  I am currently  enrolled in a program that will allow me to graduate with my associates degree in conjunction with my high school diploma.
