Michael Shanahan '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Shanahan. I have been playing football since i was in the 3rd grade. I am a senior at Aurora Central Catholic High School. I am the starting Right Offensive Tackle. My dream for football would be to play football at pretty much any Division 1 school. My main priority is my education, however, I would love to play football in college. It has been my dream ever since I was a little kid.

My coaches have always said to myself and my parents that i am very coachable. I have played Center, as well as Offensive Tackle on the left and right side. My strong suit, however, is Right Tackle on the offense. 

 In my college career, I would like to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology with a minor in Urban Management, while also playing football. My plans for after college are pretty detailed. I plan on becoming a police officer right out of college. By the time i am 28, i would like to be on SWAT, and by the age of 30, i would like to see myself become a member of the DEA, FBI, or U.S. Marshall Service.
