Isaiah Hernandez-Goss '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always been a leader and a hard worker. Growing up in the neighborhood I live in means I have to work hard everyday for what I want in life. These traits are also demonstrated by my mindset and effort on the field. I have always been a natural born leader and my teammates always seem to come to me for guidance and they take heed. I will admit it does feel good but I never take advantage of this privilege.

I have always been able to learn anything you put in front of me and I tend to excel at most. Even though i never had a school book to bring home in all of my academic career, I was still able to score an 1115 on the PSAT my freshman year, which was shortened by the CPS teacher strike at the beginning of this school year and now currently this COVID-19 crisis.

When it comes to the football field I am familiar with every position on the field except quarterback which i have never played. I am proficient at offense but my defense skills are definitely efficient. I prefer to be on the receiving end of the ball but i will definitely defend our goal.
