Football really plays an important in my life. Football has motivated me in and out of the classroom . Not only do I take football seriously but my academics as well. I’m a determined athlete and when presented with an opportunity to workout, go to a camp or showcase, I will sacrifice time spent with friends and sometimes family to attend. My mindset is one where I refuse to be average. This mindset motivates me to work each and everyday to get greater. I don’t shy away from competition- I love to compete. I know nothing is given and everything is earned . What makes me a great candidate for your team is my ability to be versatile as I had to be this past season. This past season, I played every back 4 position and led the back 4 in tackles. I’m great in coverage and not afraid to come down and hit! When I play, I don't see what others see because I'm having fun! I enjoy playing with the team. My teammates, after a game, will hi-five me or send me a text expressing the "heart" they see when I'm on the the field. Some have shared their appreciation regarding tackling and how their game is not like mine. Some have shared they won't go onto the field unless I'm there. Their comments, how they think of me as a person and player means a lot to me. I am truly honored and humbled. Because for me , its about the team!
