Winning the Illinois Eight Man State Championship as a sophomore was the highlight of my high school career so far . I started playing football my freshmen year on the junior varsity team and feel that I grew as an athelete through learning not only the fundamentals of the game and playing on the offensive and defensive line, but also gained confidence in my ability to play the position. I worked hard in the offseason between my freshmen and sophomore season in the weight room and earned a starting position on the offensive line for the varsity team and have started every game since then. I also start as a tackle on the defensive line.
I am fortunate to be a part of an amazing program, where I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. With my junior season nearly complete, I look forward to the opportunity to take on more of a leadership role as a senior. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me atheletically, as well as academically l. I believe that I have not only the talent to compete on a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your program.
