Antoine Allen-Jackson '10 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football and running track for the majority of my time since grade school. For all the extra hours I have decided to dedicate to those sports I am thankful for the opportunity. Having the opportunity to be involved in a team activity for which all people are working toward one goal whether it is accomplished or not I am greatly in debt and will forever remember the great experience of simply growing as a person. This being said I feel it is my right to better myself as well as those around me. For me the goals I set as well as objectives given could never be met without some type of support. So those who depend on me for support I must truly help because in the end we are all one family no matter how you slice it. If as a unit on and off the field in high school we could help each other, then throughout life people I meet and are told to deal with will be in for good company as I treat them as family. The most important value for many people is simply family. Without football and all of high school I may have never learned what the true meaning of dependency on family meant. So in a sense football offered a family, a team, and a unity that will be of great use to me as well as all those who participated for the rest of our natural born lives.
