Lucas Johnson '19 Recruiting Profile

My number one priority is to achieve a college degree in education.  Football has been the main part of my life and I have played since kindergarten.  I am a dedicated leader and team player.  I put in numerous hours to improve on my skills for every position I play.  I currently play running back on the offensive side, but would love to play wide reciever as I've been told by coaches that I have great hands and have good route running ability.  I play cornerback and safety on the defensive side of the ball and have shown great improvement my junior year.  I am also a very versitile player.  Since my freshman year I have helped my team when needed at various positions including running back, wide receiver, quarterback, defensive back, safety, kick returner, kick off and long snapper.  I am always striving to achieve success and understand that it is just as important to work hard on my academics as it is football.  I feel I am a very coachable athlete and can take constructive criticism well from my coaches. I am active in my community and other areas in my school, such as FFA, chorus, and basketball.  I am willing to play football at any college level that would give me the opportunity to play. 

My goal is to be able to play football while attending college and persuing my degree.  Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me.
