My name is Noah Maurer and I am a hardworking dedicated student athlete. I am driven by my faith, family, and love for the game of football. Currently I am a senior at Woodstock High School in Woodstock, IL. Positions I have played the past few years are running back, linebacker, and punt returner. Linebacker is my primary position but I'm willing to do whatever is needed for my team. Physically I stand at 5’10 and weigh 200 lbs.
Football comes before any of my sports which include basketball, track and lacrosse. Football is my passion. It’s what makes me happy, being a football player is who I am. During season and pre season, I am the first to the field/gym and the last to leave. I have made a commitment to my team and myself to be the best I can be. That only happens with hard-work and dedication. During the off season, I commit to training at the local speed center doing speed/agility, strength and attend several camps.
I am looking to go to a school that will allow me to continue to play the sport I love, provide me with a solid education, and help me to become a well rounded man with a bright future. I have not decided on a major as of yet, but I am strongly considering studying in the engineering or business. Location is not an issue for me. I am looking for the school that is the best match for me and my football and academic goals.
