Myles Adams '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Myles Adams and I currently live in Bloomington, IN. Home of Indiana University. I am originally from Michigan City, IN. I live with my Uncle and Aunt after my mom passed away when I was 12. She died of the disease called sarcoidosis, the same disease that took away the actor/comedian Bernie Mac. One special thing about me is that I wasn't suppose to be here. My mom wasn't suppose to have a child, but she had me. She raised me the best that she could for those 12 years and she did a great job. Now she has left me in great hands with my Uncle and Aunt. So far I have done great in school and gone to several countries as a Student Ambassador for the People to People program( Australia, Italy, France, and England). I have done things here with my Uncle and Aunt that I have never done in my life before and will never forget. They are shaping me into the sucessful man that I hope to become in the future. I have a dream of playing college football and possibly even in the NFL. I started football in the 8th grade and I am now going into my junior year as a high school football player. I am 5'10'' and weigh 187 lbs. I play linebacker/running back. I believe that I can offer a team a leader that others around me can look up to. I work hard and try to do things that will overall help my team. I was a team captain my freshman and sophmore year on the freshman and JV team. I push myself to put 100% effort in everything that I do. I don't have a clear idea of where I want to go to school yet, but I want to go somewhere that is the best fit for me. I want to go somewhere where I can recieve the best quality education, love the campus, and play the sport that I truley love. No matter if the school is Dl, Dll, or Dlll, I want to go to the school that is utimately the best fit for me. I have an interest in optometry, but other things could interest me as well. As for my athletic goals, I would love to go somewhere where the competition level is high and where I can grow and make an impact on.
