My name is Payton Marksbury and I go to Boonville High School in Boonville, Indiana. I played my first year of Varsity in 2012 as a Freshman. I played ILB and a little of OLB also. At that time I only weighed 165 lbs., but I gained 35 pounds in the off season. My 2012 season as a Freshman I led the Varsity defense in total tackles with 111. My Sophomore season started of bad and ended bad. I was injured the whole year. I had two high ankle sprains, one for each ankle. I pulled my left quad muscle, and then I had a concussion close to the end of the season. I only played 5 games. I never got to play healthy. In those 5 games I had 56 total tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception. My Junior season I led the Nation with 221 total tackles and had 1 sack, 1 interception, and 5 forced fumbles. After high school I really want to continue my football career at the college level. I really want to play D1 Football, but if I don't get a scholarship for it I will play at any Division to continue my career and at any position the coach wants me to play at.
