Dear prospective Coach:
My name is Kyle Haessly. I am 5’11 and weigh 193 lbs. I am a senior captain at Hanover Central in high school. Throughout my high school football career, I have started 4 seasons on varsity (2yr running back and OLB, 2 years at safety). I received Honorable Mention in the Great South Shore All-Conference in 2020, 1st team Great South Shore All-Conference in 2021, and 2nd team all-area 2021. My junior season I broke the single-game rushing record with 31 carries for 260 yards and the single-season rushing record with 1,381 yards- averaging 6.5 yards a carry with 24 touchdowns. My senior season picked up where I left off from my junior year. After a great off-season workout, I increased my yards per carry. I had 129 carries for 1,243 yards, averaging 9.6 yards per carry. I increased my yards after contact and tripled my 20+ yard carries from previous year. My goal is to participate as a running back, defensive player, and athlete at the collegiate level. In the past 2 years I had over 3,100 all-purpose yards and 58 touchdowns.
The attributes that I can contribute to any organization are considered to be second to none. My work ethic both on and off the field; as well as my leadership, speed, strength, and my passion for the sport are unmatched. In the weight room, I’m always training to better myself and encourage my teammates. I have a desire to be the strongest and fastest person on the field. In order to help achieve this goal, I have also been participating in the Track and Field program to continue to improve on my speed and agility.
I consider leadership qualities to be a crucial part of success in achieving my goals. My leadership qualities are to motivate others around me in the weight room, on the field, and in the community. My work ethic off the field consists of: my work in the community, extracurricular programs, and in the classroom academically. My passion for the sport of football is like no other. I love to be on the field hitting people, running the ball, and competing at the highest level to achieve success for my team. I believe that I can be a great asset to any football program. My desire is to compete at the championship level and continue to be a leader on and off the field.
