The worst thing to happen to an aspiring athlete is a season ending injury. My eighth grade year, my season ended with a hamstring injury that required surgery to repair. I dislocated my clavicle my sophomore year toward the end of my first Varsity season and had to have surgery to repair it. A few weeks prior to the first game of the season of my junior year, I broke my wrist, and had to have surgery repair it. Luckily, after recovering from surgery, I was able to play last 5 games of the season and see time on both sides of the ball. These injuries taught me that perseverance and dedication is everything. I bounced back each time from those injuries and I never gave up. What you can get out of me is hard work and determination. I haven't given up and I won't give up now. I have always dreamed of playing college ball since I was playing youth football. Now that I have the chance I will do everything in my power to do it. I will be an asset on your team because of my character and my determination. I will uplift the team in times of need. I feel that I am different from most because of the injuries I have had and my ability to bounce back even stronger. I would love the opportunity to play football and pursue my college degree at the same time. I look forward to hearing from any collegiate coaches interested in me. I'm interested in playing on either side of the ball and special teams.
