I have played the quarterback position since I was in 3rd grade. Since that time I have dreamed about being able to play quarterback in college. There are so many reasons why playing quarterback is a challenge, but also a lot of fun. I feel you have to have all kinds of different skills to play the position, but being calm under pressure is a big one. This is my best quality, I never get too up or too down. I have a natural gift in my arm, but there is so much more to being quarterback than just a big arm. I believe my mental game at the position is well advanced for my age.
I have been fortunate to lead some great teams at quarterback, especially our varsity team since half of my freshman season.
In addition to football, I am a sprinter on my high school track team and tried my hand at high jump. I also work very hard at school and understand the importance of my academic career as well as my athletic career.
