Personal Statement

I am a 6'2" 220lb difference maker capable of making a significant contribution at inside or outside linebacker. I'm an explosive defender with quick lateral movement and superior closing speed. I am a senior team captain, 3 year varsity starter for perennial powerhouse Francis J. Reitz High School (Evansville, IN). I am a multi-sport athlete who is also a 3 year varsity wrestling starter. I run a 4.65 forty and 4.16 pro shuttle. I have a 32" vertical and 290lb power clean. I have received the following recognition for my on-field performance:

  • *2x All-State, All Conference and All-Area
  • *Reitz Football Defensive Player of the Year
  • *2x Defensive Back of the Year (team award for linebackers and secondary combined)
  • *3x Kiwanis Player of the Week
  • *Kiwanis International Athletic Award Winner

In addition to my athletic abilities I can also offer a team many valuable intangibles including a tremendous work ethic, character and leadership ability. Some examples of these qualities include the following:

  • *Cumulative 3.92 GPA on a 4.0 scale while taking honors and AP classes
  • *2012 Team Captain
  • *Leadership Award Winner at the National Underclassmen Combine
  • *Student Council member and community volunteer

I am interested in getting a world-class education while playing college football at a high level. I am open to opportunities throughout the country. I truly believe I have what it takes to excel both athletically and academically at the next level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
