Jackson Goodyear '23 Recruiting Profile

I’m proudly committed to Wabash College! My  goal is to continue my education and playing the sport I love at a college that’s the right fit for me. I strive to be my best and the best teammate I can be.  I’m motivated by the love and brotherhood that is shared with my teammates. Long football and wrestling seasons have taught me the value of hard work, grit, and determination. I’ve developed the necessary discipline to do whatever it takes to achieve personal and team goals. I’m proud the coaches of our very competitive 6A team can rely on me as a utility player for our team whether I’m playing linebacker, defensive tackle, or special teams. I’m willing to play at whatever position I’m needed as long as it can help the team win.

My position coach recently wrote this about me: “Jackson is an old school, tough as nails football player who also wrestles. He loves the game of football, plays D-line and is on all of our special teams. He is a culture builder and team player who will never be out worked, on the field or weight room.”
