My name is Elijah Jackson and I am a Junior at Lawrence Central Highschool. My first year at Lawrence Central Highschool I was a one position player, only able to play the running back position, in which I excelled but I didn’t maximize my full potential. I started getting mentored and privately coached my sophomore year and was not only taught on my physical ability but on my mental preparation for the game of football. I started taking care of my body, bettering my grades, understanding nutrition, working on my speed and agility, attending camps, and concentrating on being a leader on and off the field. By doing the previous as a Junior, I am now able to help the team by not only lining up as running back but playing the slot position, kickoff return and punt return.
Going into college I want to focus on my academics and hopefully find a career I love in the business field. While focusing on and achieving my academic goals, I still want to be able to stay active in the sport I love (Football).
