I believe that we are students of life. There is a chance to learn in every situation. Being faced with hard times and the want to quit when things get hard is what sets people apart. I feel that is where the difference is made. When practice or a game is hard do I quit and give up, no, that is the time to try one more time. That is the time to take one more step, run the play one more time. Some times if you want something bad enough, it means you have to give up other things in life to make that happen. So if that means that I study to get ahead in school when my friend are hanging out, then I study. If that means I am at the gym or practice when my friends are doing something fun, I know that my sacrifice is worth it in the long run because I want to achieve my goals and be a success both on and off the field.
